An Accidental Purchase

Yesterday I had a bit of time to kill before starting work. I popped into Superdrug just to have a look around really, but I didn't expect there to be a new product range! I love trying new products so it was inevitable that I would walk out with something!

Superdrug's Simply Pure range is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, paraben-free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and of course, BUAV approved. The whole range was half price and one particular product that caught my eye was the Oil Balancing Serum for combination skin, mainly because it was under £2! I soon found myself picking it up and walking to the till (where the lovely sales assistant commented on how long my eyelashes were; I was wearing the BWC mascara that I will be reviewing next week!).

I love the simple packaging of this product. The serum is a light consistency and absorbs easily into the skin.

I tried the serum out this morning under my moisturiser. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth but with a matte finish.

Has anyone else 'accidentally' bought anything lately?
