I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I've posted, but after a busy year finishing my studies, I now have more time on my hands so I will hopefully be blogging lots more! The year has flown by, and it's my favourite time of year again - Christmas! Read on to find out how to make sure your Christmas is cruelty free...

The presents!
You can't go wrong with giving cosmetics and toiletries for Christmas presents - just make sure you look out for the leaping bunny symbol! There are loads of great BUAV approved companies to choose from whatever your budget, but here are a few ideas to help you get started:

The food!

Most people don't know that a lot of alcoholic drinks are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans due to animal products such as eggs, isinglass (fish swim bladders), gelatine and bones being added during the filtration process. Most drinks don't state whether they are suitable for veggies, but most supermarket own brand ones do, such as this delicate Sauvignon, £18 from Marks and Spencer
